The son of David Umahi, the former governor of Ebonyi State and Nigeria’s current Minister of Works, Osborn Nweze Umahi has joined the list of growing successful young Nigerians making waves across the world.
Osborn is also the nephew of oil billionaire Arthur Eze.

It is not an understatement that Nigeria boasts several successful young people who are making waves in the vast business ecosystem of the country and the world at large.

Many of them are millionaires and billionaires in their own right and are suitable candidates for prestigious lists like Forbes 30 Under 30 Successful People.

These individuals are spread across various sectors, including music moguls like Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Kizz Daniel, and business leaders like Iyinoluwa Aboyeji.

Despite his family connections, Osborn has achieved success in his own right. He moved to London at the age of 15 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey in England at 21. At 24, he earned a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

In addition to his impressive education, Osborn has valuable work experience and has risen to the top of the business world at a young age. He currently serves as the managing director of his father’s company, Brass Oil and Construction, and is the chairman of his own hospitality business, the Osborn Lapalm Group.
