A woman in Delta State has narrated how her son, Emma Errgarnoma tried to use her for ritual by gouging out her eyes.
According to a report posted on Facebook by one Ayonia Authentiq, and shared by Network Against Domestic Violence, the woman said her son invited her to his house in the pretext of wanting to give her a gift.
After she got to the house, her son allegedly locked the door and increased the volume of the music. She said the he then proceeded to try to strangle her and began making attempts to remove her eyes.
She said her son was shouting that he must drive GLK this week as he tried to kill her.
Reports say the suspect has been arrested by youths in the area after her mother escaped and raised the alarm. He was subsequently handed over to the police.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect was in custody.
