The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Tuesday predicted doom for Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Ayodele said the immediate past governor of Rivers State would have a fight with some top members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, leading to his disgrace.
The cleric’s warning followed the protracted power tussle between Wike and the Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, which has set the state on edge.
He further warned that Wike risks being forgotten if he does not desist from the political crisis in Rivers State, adding that Wike’s fight with Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State is an attempt to fight God.
Ayodele’s media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, in a statement on Monday warned both Wike and Fubara against using Rivers State as a battleground for 2027 politics.
“They shouldn’t use Rivers State as a battleground for 2027 politics. Wike will tear APC apart, and there is going to be a fight between Wike and top APC members. He will be disgraced in Abuja,” the statement read.
“If he isn’t careful, he will not be part of the people that will arrange the 2027 politics. He is fighting God through Fubara, and if he doesn’t desist, politics will leave him and he will be forgotten. He should stop all these troubles.
“I know he will not listen, but what will teach him will happen. In all of these, Wike will not determine who will become the governor of Rivers State in 2027.
“The crisis will not end now, but a big man will be used as a sacrifice in this war. Wike shouldn’t forget he is still coming back home; the judgment of God is coming to Rivers State; it will take one and leave one.”
