A Radio Biafra broadcaster, Simon Ekpa, was sacked because he failed to observe the organisation’s rules of operation.
The Media and Publicity Secretary of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) who are owners of the radio station, Emma Powerful, explained in a statement that Ekpa was disengaged over his refusal to sign the rules of engagement and code of conduct guiding those broadcasting on Radio Biafra.

The statement said IPOB could not understand why Ekpa would not comply like the other broadcasters on the platform, who have since done the needful.
It noted, however, that Ekpa’s sack was not meant to ridicule him, but to prove to all that due process could not be compromised in a well- structured movement like IPOB.
