“Onitsha is our own Lagos before the Nigerian civil war, and till now remains the largest market in West Africa. It is a viable commercial and industrial town.
“If most newspapers are based in Lagos State because of its economic viability, we have decided to cite a newspaper in the east of Niger, Onitsha particularly, because of its economic viability.
“A newspaper can thrive here if well organised and with a good content analysis.
“We want to be seen as a newspaper that can influence political, business and cultural opinions east of the Niger.’’ (NAN)
