Mr Mahmud Husein, Chairman, Volunteers Group for Abdullahi Sule, APC governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari had done a lot for Nigerians to merit a second tenure.
“Nasarawa State will vote en-masse for Buhari because he has worked for Nigeria and deserves four more years,” the APC stalwart told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Wednesday in Lafia, while waiting along with others for President Buhari’s visit.’
President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo are billed to visit the North-Central state to flag off the APC presidential campaign.

Husein said that President Buhari deserved more years to fight corruption and execute projects that would improve the living standard of the people.
“Voting for Buhari and APC is voting to secure Nigeria’s future; we are here to show our appreciation for his fight against corruption,” he said.
NAN reports that the anxious APC supporters had massed into the state capital to receive President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo.
Our correspondents also observed that the city had been beautified and adorned with APC flags and banners welcoming the duo and Tanko Al-Makura, the governor of the state.
NAN also reports that all roads leading to Lafia Square, the venue of the campaign, were barricaded as part of security measures aimed at reducing the stampede on the route.
Supporters of the ruling party were also seen in their various regalia adorned with party insignia chanting slogans of the party.
The President is scheduled to visit Benue and Nasarawa States. (NAN)
