The video of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu criticizing former president Goodluck Jonathan for appointing an 86-year-old Tony Aninih chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority has been making the rounds on social media.
The video is undated and saw the then agile Tinubu mocking Jonathan for not appointing a younger person as Chairman of NPA.
In the video, Tinubu said.
“The President is a very young man but he has appointed an 85-year-old man, not as the board chairman, but the head of NPA.”
Tinubu, who claims to be 70 years old, is contesting to become Nigeria’s next president in 2023.
The video has been criticised by many who see the former governor of Lagos State as speaking against his candidacy.
Video from 2014 shows Tinubu Advocate against Old Men in Government. You can hear him here mocking GEJ's appointment of 83yrs old Chief Tony Anenih as the chairman of Nig ports authority.
