A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous dog offences, after a woman died after being attacked by two dogs in Essex, England.
Police were called to Jaywick at about 4pm on Saturday, where a woman was found with serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Independent, the suspect, who was from the village, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous dog offences.
Reports said the dogs had to be destroyed and experts will confirm their breed later.
Chief Superintendent Glen Pavelin, from Essex Police, said, “My thoughts, and those of our officers and staff, are with the family of the woman who died yesterday.
“This incident will be a huge shock to the community and I understand their concerns.
