Nigerians on Twitter have declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu missing following the commencement of campaigns for the 2023 elections.
The former governor of Lagos State has been trending at number one on Thursday, September 29, 2022, following news that he jetted out of the country with his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

He was also absent from the peace signing ceremony by the Peace Committee.
Tinubu’s conspicuous absence was palpable as Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, kickstarted his campaign in Jos, Plateau State with a mammoth crowd and PDP’s flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar with a book launch in Abuja.
There have been insinuations that the APC flagbearer may have gone further medical checks.
But a message on his Twitter handle says that he will take his campaign to every part of the country.
He said: “Today marks the official commencement of 2023 presidential election campaign activities across this country,”

Bola Tinubu didn’t attend the peace accord signing ceremony for the upcoming presidential elections.
Why is this important? Politicians are often known to sponsor violence if election results don’t favor them.
The absence of a presidential candidate speaks volume!

Once again, as candidates of the major political parties gather to sign the Peace Accord, organized by the National Peace Committee, the candidate of ruling APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is conspicuously absent.

The absence of Bola Tinubu at the NBA conference last month and the Peace Accord signing today should be a huge concern to Nigerians ahead of the 2023 elections. With the current problems facing Nigeria, Nigeria needs a leader that is available/accessible. Not leadership by proxy
