Former US president, Donald Trump has vowed to carry out the ‘largest deportation in U.S. history’ if voted into power in the coming US general election.
Trump made the disclosure in a conversation with Elon Musk during his(Trump) return to the social media platform X.
In the over two hours conversation Trump revealed his plans to deport illegal immigration and cut government regulations.
“We will undertake the largest deportation effort ever seen in this country,” he declared, adding that the move will help in restoring order and enforcing immigration laws to their fullest extent as well as protect national security and maintain economic stability.
“We need to take decisive action to protect our borders and our citizens,” he added.
He extended an invitation to Musk to join him in his government to help ‘cut government waste.’
“You’re the greatest cutter,” Trump told Musk. “I need an Elon Musk, I need somebody that has a lot of strength and courage and smarts. I want to close up the Department of Education, move education back to the states.”
