Traditional ruler says Soludo’s victory, a relief for Umumbo community
Traditional ruler in Anambra has described the Victory Chukwuma Soludo as sweet omen to the Umumgbo Community.

The traditional ruler of Traditional ruler says Soludo’s victory, a relief for Umumbo community has said the victory of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s victory at the Anambra gubernatorial election is a big relief for the community in Anambra State.
While congratulating him and his deputy, Dr Onyeka Ibezim, on their victory, the traditional ruler of Umumbo Community Ayamelum Local government Area, Anambra State, HRH, Igwe Simeon Ikechukwu Chidubem, said the good people of Umumbo Community, look forward to.a successful tenure of the duo as they set to assume the mantle of leadership of the State, and prayed that their administration and tenure in office will surely usher Anambra state into its greatness.
The traditional ruler, speaking on behalf of the community through its President General, Chief Hon Simon Ikechukwu Okoye said that the election of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as the new helmsman of the state was a positive development and a big relief to the communities and citizens in the state who have in the last eight years enjoyed good governance and huge infrastructural development under APGA government led by His Excellency, Chief Sir Willie Obiano.

He added despite huge opposition, Soludo was victorious but reminded him not to forget his electoral promises which centres on transparency, development, inclusiveness and good governance stating that all of these are much desired for the fast-paced growth and development of the entire state.
Igwe Umumbo also appreciated INEC, security agencies, media, local and international observers for a peaceful election. He enjoined Ndi Anambra, to rally around the governor-elect in solidarity, and prayed for his successful reign.
Meanwhile, Victor Umeh has said that the Anambra people cannot be cheated the way the people of Imo State were ‘cheated.
