Tinubu formally relocates to Defence House, receives APC chair, Adamu, Okorocha, others

The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, left his Asokoro residence, in Abuja, for Defence Guest House in the Maitama District of the city, from where he is ecpeted to function until his inauguration on May 29.
Recall that the current President Muhammadu Buhari was also quartered at the same complex months before his May 29, 2015 inauguration, from where he moved into his official residence at the Aso Rock Villa.
The President-elect, who was dressed in a free-flowing white Babaringa with a red cap to match, arrived at his new operational base at about 12.15pm, on Wednesday.

He was accompanied by the vice president-elect, Sen. Kashim Shettima; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary of the dissolved APC Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. James Faleke; Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege; Governor AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman of Kwara STate and the senator representing Ekiti Central in the National Assembly, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele.
Shortly after his arrival, the President-elect received a delegation of APC stalwarts led by the National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu; National Secretary of the APC, Sen. Iyiola Omisore; a former Governor of Imo State, Sen. Rochas Okorocha; Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State as well as Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru.
