President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff (CoS).
Similarly, a former governor of Benue State, Mr. George Akume, was appointed as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former deputy Governor of Jigawa State, was also announced as the Deputy Chief of Staff.

President Tinubu announced the appointments in a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), on Friday.
“In a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum, the President also named former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation,” a statement signed by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye said.
