Four more hostages from the ill-fated AK-9 Abuja-Kaduna passenger train attacked, on March 28, have been released by the terrorists who abducted them.
The freed passengers included an 85-year-old Hajiya Halimatu Atta, her daughter, and two others. Atta and other passengers had spent four months with their abductors.
A media consultant to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Tukur Mamu, confirmed the release of the four hostages to journalists in Kaduna.

Recall that the controversial Islamic cleric had withdrawn as one of the negotiators with the terrorists,
Mamu identified Halimatu Atta, Adams, Mohammed Sani Abdulmaji and Alhaji Modin Modi Bodinga as the released passengers.
Mamu also disclosed that one Arzurfa Lois John, a 21-year-old hostage, is at risk of being married off to one of the terrorists if there is no quick intervention.
He said one of the terrorists’ commanders was said to be in love with Lois.
Back in March, the terrorists had attacked a train en route to Kaduna from Abuja, killing eight of the passengers and abducting 61 passengers.
They have since released 32 of them in batches: 11 in June, followed by seven in July, three also in July, five in early August, seven on August 10, and four confirmed on Friday.
