There was serious tension in Ojo jetty, Lagos State, as a boat carrying passengers capsized.
The boat was coming from Ibeshe village and capsized just a stone throw to the ojo jetty located at Ikemo Street, close to Paragon Hotel.

Our reporter, who witnessed the incident, said the passengers in the boat started shouting for help which drew the attention of other boat users, but before they got to the scene the boat had capsized.
All occupants of the boat reportedly drowned in the river. The event occurred at exactly 7:13pm. Rescue mission was immediately launched.
