A 19-year-old teenage mother, Mary Adeniyi, have stabbed her husband, Solomon Nduka, to death in Lagos.
The suspect, who lived with her husband at Shagamu road, Ikorodu, Lagos, said she killed her 30-year-old husband in self defense.
It was learnt that the deceased, a casual worker at a Lagos-based factory, had returned from work on February 15, 2019, accused his wife of infidelity.

Adeniyi, who said she denied the accusation, alleged that Nduka took the matter more seriously and started beating her.
According to the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect, the couple have a four-month-old baby boy.
Oti said it was while the couple were fighting that the wife picked a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband on the neck.
“The deceased was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty. They were fighting over the wife’s infidelity,” Oti stated.
The Lagos Police spokesperson said the case was under investigation at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
He also noted that further development on the matter would be made public as investigations progressed.
