Twelve-year-old Sylvester died in controversial circumstances, following injuries he received when he was allegedly assaulted by some students, who wanted him to join their cult.
The late student’s cousin, Perry, broke the sad need on social media but the school disputed the report, claiming instead that Sylvester had sustained the injury while playing football.
However, the Lagos State government ordered the indefinite closure of the school pending the outcome of an investigation it ordered into the matter.
