Strike: Alausa secretariat, local airport shut

Lagos State secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja was on Monday morning shut in commencement of the strike action declared by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC.

Staff buses conveying staff of Lagos State were turned back at the gate of the secretariat as
it was closed by unions who directed them to go back.
All staff working inside the Secretariat were told to leave the premises as all the staff buses were not allowed entrance and were turned back. The main gate of the Secretariat was shut.
Report also indicates all operations at the Lagos local airport were cancelled.
