The Sona Group Industry has bagged the Award for Excellence in Industrial Development at the third edition of the National Mandate Leadership Award held at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, in Lagos State.
In a statement signed by Christiana Inoh, Media Developer, SONA Group, the event was attended by important dignitaries from the government agencies, the business sector, entertainment, legal practitioners and International bodies.
Mr. A. K. Mirchandani, the Chairman SONA Group of Industries, promised that the company will continue to create platforms of opportunities for Nigerians to key into and will continue to use local raw materials as a way of supporting the growth of the Nigerian economy.
He expressed gratitude to the organisers for the award.
The agro based company specialises in agricultural products and has been in Nigeria for over 40 years, and has created jobs for over 15,000 citizens.
