Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whose husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, wants to be Nigeria’s president in 2023, has outraged Nigerians for calling Senator Smart Adeyemi, from Kogi State, a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
During Senate’s plenary on Tuesday, Adeyemi has raised the alarm over insecurity in Nigeria to which, Tinubu was heard at the background asking him if he’s from the opposition, the PDP or a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
“Are you in PDP? Are a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” she was heard saying.
Her comments have outraged Nigerians who expressed disgust and described them as insensitive at a time when Nigeria is spinning from the devastating effects of insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and armed robbery.
On social media, Nigerians asked what she has done for the parents whose children are plucked off schools and from the streets by kidnappers and bandits.
According to them, you do need to be in the opposition to speak the truth to power.

The duo does not care whether we are all consumed in one day. No matter what we do, Remi Tinubu must not become 1st lady.
@Aiyemojuba said: Expect daily derogatory, belittling, and scorning statements from the office of the First Lady under Remi Tinubu. That woman is a ven*m on two legs.
Remi Tinubu who is known to be garrulous and quarrelsome on the floor of the senate has shown blatant disrespect for constituted authority and has brawled with fellow senators openly.
During the eighth assembly, the ordained pastor from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) refused to acknowledge the then senate president, Bukola Saraki or observe protocols under him.
