Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso has congratulated former military Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on his 81st birthday.
Kwankwaso, who is the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in a statement signed by him, wished IBB ‘happiness and unending peace
to continue to play your role in Nigeria’s journey to greatness.’

“You have been an inspirational, successful and effective leader in the annals of our country. It has been a great honour and privilege for me to have worked with, and to have learnt a lot from you,”the statement added.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and our political party the NNPP, I wish you more longevity in good, more prosperity in peace and happiness. Thank God you are only 81-yrs-old,”
