Sen. Gbenga Ashafa, the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority, has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the inauguration of the new Elemoro Junior High School, Ibeju-Lekki.
While appreciating the governor for fulfilling his promise to build a secondary school for the community, Ashafa, who is from the Elemoro family, said the people of the community would forever be grateful to the governor for taking education to the next level with state-of-the-art facilities. He said that with the facility the pupils would be able to combine learning with sporting activities.

Ashafa, who was the former Lagos East Senatorial District, also urged the community to take ownership of the facility by ensuring proper maintenance of the facility, adding that the best way to encourage the government to establish such a project in the axis is through proper maintenance.
He congratulated the traditional rulers in the Elemoro Kingdom and others who played an active role in the successful completion of the project, expressing optimism that more people-oriented projects would come to the axis, if the residents take ownership of public projects such as the newly inaugurated facilities.
