Sanwo-Olu fulfils 25-yr promise, gifts Olympic gold medalist, Chioma Ajunwa, 3-bedroom flat

Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday fulfilled 25-yr promise when he announced the reward of 3-bedroom Flat at the Babatunde Raji Fashola Housing Estate, Iponri to the first Olympic Gold Medalist in Nigeria and Africa, Dr Chioma Ajunwa.

Dr Ajunwa, who is now an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) won gold for Nigeria at the Atlanta ’96 Olympic in a 200metres race.
The state government, back then, had promised a reward of a 3-bedroom flat to her but the promise was not fulfilled until today.
