The residents of Sambalisa community in Birmin Kudu Local Government Area of Jigawa, have decried poor roads in the area and called on Gov. Muhammad Badaru to construct accessible roads to link their villages.
Mallam Abdullahi Sabo, the spokesman for the community, made this appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Monday.
According to Sabo, the community is an agrarian place, full of agricultural potential, but the poor road network has caused most of their produce to perish.

“We are great farmers because of the agricultural potential in our area; but we want the governor to construct good roads for us.
“The gesture will go along a long way in helping us to transport our farm produce to the markets in the urban centres.
“The request for good road to our village is not for us alone but a collective request by the whole community because there are many villages in the area,” he said. (NAN)
