A sales representative, Victor Young, 32, who allegedly stole N1.39 million worth of pharmaceutical products, on Tuesday, appeared in an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court.
Young , who resides in House 4, Plot MT 4 , Nyanya, Abuja, is on trial over alleged theft of the products, property of the Health Line Pharmaceutical Limited Company, the complainant in the case.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Victor Eruada, told the court that Young committed the offence between January 2018 and February 2019 at Health Line Pharmaceutical Ltd Company, located at No. 9, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja.

The offence, Eruada said, contravened the provisions of Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
Young, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Dan-Oni ordered that the sureties must be employed and should show evidence of tax payment to the Lagos State Government.
