The Member representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has congratulated Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State for the Award For ‘Courageous & Purposeful Leadership in Challenging Times’ conferred on him by the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion.
Dr. Ottah Agbo fondly called the Ozigizaga and Ubagidi of Enone Politics thanked the clergy for finding the Governor worthy of the worthy which he described as timely.
In a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, the FeedBack Lawmaker also said Governor Ortom deserves the award for the uncommon courage he had shown in leadership, by defending the Benue Trough against the attacks by criminals!
The statements reads, “The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has done well by conferring on Gov Samuel Ortom the prestigious Award For ‘Courageous and Purposeful Leadership in Challenging Time.

“This is indeed so because His Excellency, Governor Ortom has shown leadership, by staying true to his conviction and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which identifies the security of lives and property as the primary responsibility of government.
“Gov Ortom has set the pace in governance by always siding with his people as well as, speaking truth to power… for which many public servants especially governors have emulated him.
“This award, coming from a Church of God, a respected institution like the Anglican Church, will ginger the Governor to do more in defending the Benue people and serve his people without fear.”
