Nigeria’s First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, extended her compassion to ailing Nollywood actor Zack Orji during a visit to the National Hospital in Abuja.
The visit, made in conjunction with the celebration of the first baby of the year, saw Mrs. Tinubu accompanied by prominent figures including the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye.
Additional attendees included the wife of the Minister for Works, Rachael Umahi, and the wife of the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle. While the details of the visit to the veteran actor remained undisclosed, sources indicate that Mrs. Tinubu spent approximately 13 minutes with him.
Zack Orji’s health has reportedly improved since his admission to the National Hospital, thanks to the intervention of the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, who ensured he received optimal medical attention. According to the National Hospital Public Relations Officer (PRO), Tayo Hastrup, Orji is now in stable condition and has started talking, with his wife by his side. The veteran actor was admitted over the weekend after collapsing in his toilet.
