Sokoto State First Lady, Hajiya Maryam Tambuwal, will be addressing the troubling incidences of rape on August 1, 2020, in a virtual conference with media women.
Hajiya Tambuwal will be speaking on the platform of the Media Women Forum at 6:00p.m. via Zoom on the scheduled date.

An unprecedented rise in cases of rape has been observed across the country and the despicable act needs to be addressed.
For instance, seven boys reportedly took turns to rape a 22-year-old physically-challenged orphan in an uncompleted building in Sokoto State. Three of the boys have been arrested.
Hajiya Tambuwal would be suggesting antidotes to this social menace at the meeting.
