The Vice president Prof. Yemi Osibanjo in company of his wife today cast their votes at Victoria Garden City(VGC) at about 10:55am in Lagos. The vice president who expressed delight at the turn out at the polling unit 2 code 33 admonished Nigerians to keep hope alive.
Prof. Osibanjo commended the peaceful conduct of the election so far within the Lagos metropolis.
At the VGC polling station which has over 5000, voters , a special seating arrangements was made for the aged who could not cope with the long hours of standing on the queue.

With the prohibition of vehicular movement, however a number of youths were seen playing football on the highway of the ever busy Ajah Epe express way.
Many voters , both young and old took turns to take pictures with the Vice president. The number2 citizen of the country even helped those who could not operate their camera phones to have the pictures taken.
An officer in charge of INEC, Ibeju Lekki area who pleaded anonymity said all the AD-HOC Staff have been paid their allowances since last Friday.
