President Bola Tinubu on Monday signed into law, the new national minimum wage.

The signing ceremony took place during a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the presidential Villa Abuja.
In attendance were the Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas and other members of the National Assembly leadership who arrived at the venue at 1:38pm to join the FEC for the ceremony.
Before signing the bill into law, President Tinubu reportedly invited several officials to make comments.
