Preach Christ with lives worthy of Christ – Kwara Anglican Bishop at Easter

Kwara State Bishop of the Anglican Communion, Rt. Revd. Timothy Adewole has enjoined church leaders in Nigeria to ensure preaching Christ with lives worthy of Christ, salvation with sanctification, decision with discipleship and love with lordship.
He also enjoined them to preach blessing with birthright, revival with reformation and prosperity with purpose,
The Bishop in his sermon titled ‘Implication of Christ Resurrection’
on Easter Sunday at the St. Barnabas Anglican Cathedral in Ilorin said the resurrection of Jesus is not a friction but a reality which brought salvation and healing.
He also stressed the need to trust and develop faith in God and come to Him when situations are either good or bad.

Fielding questions from journalists after the service Bishop Adewole said, given the economic situation in the country today, what we all need is to rely absolutely on God saying; “when we rely on God things will work well as expected by us”.
The cleric stressed the need to sacrifice our time, talent, treasure, be faithful, available and teachable as followers of Christ pointing out that with Christ as our cornerstone, “we will be at peace in this country”.
Concluding, he said; “everybody therefore should try as much as possible to sacrifice so that we as individuals and others alike will be at peace. Sacrifice is very important this time around. Sacrifice everything; your time, your talent, and your treasure”, he concluded.
