The Cross River Police Command, on Friday, bared its fangs when its operatives stormed kidnappers’ den in the state, killing two of the hoodlums, arrested one as well as rescued the lone student in captivity.
The student was, on Tuesday night, abducted from Arthur Jarvis University in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of the state when gunmen raided and vandalised school facilities, machete some students and abducted one before fleeing into a nearby forest.
However, state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Aminu Alhassan, confirmed the successful rescue of the student.
