Vodacom Tanzania said on Wednesday that its managing director and several employees have been questioned by the Police over alleged fraudulent use of network facilities.

Vodacom Tanzania said in a statement in Dar Es Salaam that no charges had been brought against them.
“No formal charges have been brought against these employees, but we have been advised that they may appear in court, today,’’ Vodacom Tanzania said.
Vodacom Tanzania Limited is Tanzania’s leading cellular network company.
As of December 2016, Vodacom Tanzania had over 12.4 million customers and was the largest wireless telecommunications network in Tanzania. (NAN)
