Police delete notorious Abuja bandit

Isa Dei-Dei, a notorious bandit, have been deleted by police operatives attached to the Department of Force Intelligence of the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja.

 

 

 

The bandit was killed in a fierce gun duel between the officers and bandits at their hideout in a suburb of the FCT.

ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, disclosed that the operation unfolded on February 5, 2024, following credible intelligence that unearthed the whereabouts of Isa Dei-Dei and his gang members.

 

 

 

However, the bandits tried to flee on sighting the police, resulting in a swift pursuit by the operatives and a gun duel in which Dei-Dei was gunned down though many other members of the gang managed to escape with gunshot injuries.

 

 

 

The Force spokesperson sought the cooperation of the public and urged medical practitioners and members of the public to report individuals with gunshot wounds to aid investigation.
