Report reaching the Nigerian Xpress now indicates that the Police Air-wing is currently carrying out aerial surveillance patrol in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and in some adjourning cities.
This was disclosed through a verified tweeter handle of the Nigeria Police Force, @PoliceNG.

The tweet, however, advised that “The public is hereby informed that this is a friendly patrol designed to strengthen the security arrangement already emplaced in our cities.
“Citizens should therefore feel safe and secure as there is no cause for alarm, whatsoever.”
