A leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Aliyu Umar, has alleged that police killed three of their members early hours of Tuesday, in Kaduna State, as they were preparing to observe Ashura morning.
He said the police came to attack them and not as if it was a clash, opened fire in them and killed three instantly while several others sustained bullet wounds.

But spokesman of the state police command, DSP Yakubu Sabo, described the allegation as a ‘lie, unfounded and designed to attract sympathy and create fear in the mind of people residing in the state.’
