She also noted that the landlord also attacked her husband who came to her rescue and gave him several machete cuts before he fled that particular night.
According to her, Alabo started targeting her after she turned down his alleged love advance.
She explained: “He cut me with cutlass because he wanted us to enter an intimate relationship but I refused so he used cutlass to cut me on that fateful day when me and my husband returned around after 8 pm.
“We did not know he was hiding in the passage with the machete and as we wanted to enter that was how he started to cut us with the machete. When my husband came to my rescue, he also used the machete on him.
“Since then we both can not make use of our hands properly. Now that the landlord has been arrested I want him to be tried in court so that justice shall prevail. We stayed in the hospital for two weeks and three days.”
The victim demanded justice on the matter. It was gathered that the married woman sustained machete cuts on the head, hands, and fingers while the husband sustained machete cuts on the head and hand.
Two different fingers of Mrs Comfort and that of her husband are no longer functioning as a result of the machete cut.
