PDP identified Govs. Okowa, Emmanuel as VP candidate to Atiku

Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, may be considering picking one of two South-South governors as his running mate.

The governors are Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State.

Party sources said the Alhaji Abubakar began consultation with the leadership of the party shortly after he won the primary of the party held, on Saturday night, in the nation’s capital of Abuja.
