Organisers of the annual Ozalla Muoghalu Soccer Tournament in Ichida, Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State have disclosed that this year’s event would run from April 19 – 21 at Ezeokpu Mini Stadium, Ichida.
The four teams that would be jostling for honours in the competition bankrolled by Chief Mike Ezedimora, are All Stars FC, Solid Foundation FC, Golden Boys FC and United Friends FC.
Chairman of the tournament’s local organizing committee (LOC), Theophilus Abega, said that his committee had put everything in place for a hitch free tourney, even as he beckoned on scouts to come over to Ichida to see young soccer talents showcase their skills.

“This is a tournament where scouts can spot raw talents that are ready to explode if given the opportunity. The sponsor himself, Mike Ezedimora, has been bankrolling the event as a way of creating a platform for Ichida youths to be discovered and nurtured into international stardom.”
This year’s tournament will be graced by prominent indigenes of Ichida and, as usual, spice up the Easter celebration in the ancient kingdom.
