Governor Seyi Makinde of of Oyo State says he is angry at the attack carried out in his state by agents of the Federal Government without his knowledge.
Governor Makinde made this known at BBC Yoruba interview where he said had reservations about the ways and manners security agents invaded Ibarapa area killing the Amotekun Commandant.
“Few days ago, the incident that happened in Igangan, between the Customs, the army and our people.
“First, our people went out spreading fake news that killer Herdsmen have come again whereas both Customs and Smugglers know themselves.
“Igangan is not a border town. Working with the Federal Authorities, the guns seized from the soldiers are still with me, I said I won’t release it until I get the attention of Federal Authorities.
“The Constitution of Nigeria, Oyo State is a Federating Unit.

“I am not saying they should not come for any operations here but they must tell us. They may not tell us the details why they are coming but we must know. If we know ahead that Customs are coming it would have filtered round.
“The young man, Amotekun Commandant killed in Igboora would have been alive today. You went for an operations without Police, Army or Customs branded vehicles, you came with plain vehicles.
“When they got to the entrance of the towns they were confronted because the security of that area has been hightened…”
