Osborn Nweze Umahi, the famous son of David Umahi, former Ebonyi State governor and present Minister of Works, is reportedly now worth over $200 million.
He is the chairman of Osborn La-Palm Resort, a rising hospitality franchise with a presence in Ebonyi, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Lagos.
Osborn’s high net worth has placed him among a teeming population of young under-30 Nigerians with high net worth, many of whom are raking a fortune from the booming entertainment industry as skitmakers and musicians making Nigeria proud with their entrepreneurial and economic exploits.
Though there are arguments he’s worth much more than his present worth due to his rising profile as a real estate mogul and one of the leading CEOs in Africa which is evident in the expansion of his Osborn-La Palm Resort brand around Nigeria and to other African countries.
Osborn’s status as the financial director at Forte GCC Innovative Solutions, a company known for the management of the financial assets of many wealthy individuals in Africa. has earned him a place among financial gurus Nigeria has produced in recent times.
His over $200 million estimated net worth is considered modest by many analysts given that he is also the Managing Director of Brass Oil and Construction Limited, a multimillion-dollar company that has been the family’s mainstay for decades and has been handed over to him by his father to manage.
The construction company which specialises in road and bridge construction, has constructed several road projects across the South East and the Niger Delta regions.
It also has multiple fuel stations across Nigeria, contributing to the growth of the oil and gas sector in the country.
