Ahead of the 2023 general elections, former minister of Niger Delta Affairs under the President Goodluck Jonathan, Elder Godsday Orubebe, has allegedly perfected plans to dump the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.
Also, A former Chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, Mrs. Ngozi Olejeme, fondly called ‘Oleje Money’, has concluded plans to cross carpet to APC.

A post by Collins Uduaghan Tosan on Facebook, reads: “ELDER GODSDAY ORUBEBE former Minister of Niger Delta and NGOZI OLEJEME former Chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund are now officially members of the All Progressives Congress (APC)”.
Similarly, a release congratulating the newly sworn in Delta State Chairman of APC, Omeni Sobotie by Comrade Ughere Daniel, Publicity Secretary, All Progressives Congress, Patani LGA, welcomed Elder Godsday Orubebe, for decamping to the party.
