The Tinubu/Shettima of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign expected to be flagged off, in Ilorin, Kwara State, today (Tuesday) by President Mohammadu Buhari has been put off.
But a statement by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Kwara State APC Presidential Campaign rally said, “We regret to announce the postponement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Shetima APC presidential campaign rally scheduled to hold, in Ilorin, Tuesday, 17th January, 2023”.

The statement signed by Alhaji Saadu Salahu, Special Adviser to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Strategies said, “This is in order to allow President Muhammadu Buhari to lead the campaign”.
Salahu added, “The President is scheduled for an international engagement outside the country this week, beginning from Tuesday, but insists he would like to personally lead the APC Presidential rally in Kwara State.
“We deeply regret any inconveniences the postponement might have caused our guests and all APC stakeholders” the governor’s aide further said.
