Organisation for Nigeria’s progress formed

A political organisation to move Nigeria forward progressively has been formed with chapters across the country.

The organisation, named Movement for Better Nigeria Group (MBNG), was formed early this year with the sole objective to spearhead, assist and support any progressive programme that can better the lot of the country and her citizenry in a way that the country would be able to occupy and maintain her rightful position on the world map.

In a chat with our correspondent in Osogbo, Osun State capital Thursday, the South-West Coordinator of the Movement, Prince Moshood Owoyemi Sulayman disclosed that, the Movement is a branch of the Nazir Sheik Tahiru Bauchi Support Organisation (NSTBSO), informing that members of the Movement cut across all the states of the federation as well as across various ethnic groups and across all the political parties in Nigeria.

According to Igbaye, Odo-Otin Local Government born Prince, his Movement is ever ready to team up with other like minds whose agenda tally with its agenda in a working relationship with a view to birthing a new Nigeria that would be better, comfortable, secured and more prosperous for all and sundry, asserting that, “Nigeria is so blessed with human and natural resources so much that if harnessed properly would bring the country within the first ten great economies in the world.”

Sulayman, who was at a time the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure in Odo-Otin Local Government, Osun State lamented that, poor handling of the nation’s resources has been the bane of the nation’s forward movement, promising that, “our Movement would do everything humanly possible to make sure that, right people are put in the right places to secure the present and the future of generations yet unborn.”

The Aziari University, Cairo (Egypt) and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria trained Islamic and Arabic Language trained scholar further asserted that, “to make Nigeria great, is a task to be done collectively,” reminding that, “against that background, all hands must be on deck because the progress and the growth of the country economically, politically and industrially is a collective responsibility of you and I.”

Sulayman also seized the opportunity of the interaction to admonish the youth of the country to be proactive in accordance to the trending socio-economic and political development across the globe by getting trained in relevant vocational professions, observing that, “the trend across the world now is having a second address and not staying rigid on searches for white collar jobs that are not always available.

In addition, the pro-democracy cleric also harped on the need to participate in electoral processes like registering for the Permanent Voters Card (PVC), partaking in voting and be prepared to be voted for, pointing out that, “it is through that that good leadership that would shape the present and future of the country’s youth could be guaranteed and assured.

On the final note, the well-travelled Prince Sulayman, advised the youth to always engage themselves in gainful jobs and shun all forms of vices like cultism, banditry, robbery and hooliganism, reminding that, idle hands are devil’s workshops.
