In a latest wave of attacks in the area, chairman of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Abdullahi Isah, has confirmed the death of one person, while he claimed eight others were missing after gunmen attacked Yan’Kaba village in the locality.
Isah said those missing were suspected to have been abducted by the gunmen.
While speaking with journalists, the council chairman said the Village Head, Alhaji Buhari Ammani, was among those who had gone missing since the attack.

He maintained that the gunmen stormed the village, on Friday morning, killing one person and abducting eight others.
He added that a search and rescue team had since cordoned off the village. (SolaceBase)
