The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has raked in N720 million from sales of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the Party’s Ondo governorship ticket.
At the close of sales, on Wednesday, 16 aspirants picked the forms ahead of the April 20 party’s governorship primary election to elect the APC flag bearer for the November 2024 Ondo State Governorship Election.
The party realised the money from 14 male aspirants who picked the forms for N50 million each and two female contenders who paid N10 million each for the expression of interest form as females and persons living with disabilities are exempted from paying the N40 million nomination forms.
The exercise, which started on Wednesday 27th of March, closed on Wednesday 3rd of April, 2024.
Checks in the Party’s Directorate of Organisation showed Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa and fifteen others picked the expression interest and nomination forms to contest for the party’s shadow election scheduled for April 20.
We gathered all the aspirants but two were male. The female aspirants include Engr. Funmilayo Mary Adekojo and Engr. (Mrs.) Funke Omogoroye Folakemi Judith.
Those who obtained the forms include Olusoji Adewale Ehinlanwo, Hon. Okunjimi Odimayo John, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim and APC National Vice Chairman (South West) Duerimini Isaacs Kekemeke.

Others are Akinfolarin Mayo Samuel, Adewale Okumuyiwa Akinterinwa, Olugbenga Omogbemi Edema and Chief Olusola Alexander Oke (SAN), Gen. Ohunyeye Olamide Felix, Barr Morayo Lebi, Garvey Oladiran Iyantan, Prof. Francis Adebayo Faduyile and Engr. Ifeoluwa Olusola Oyedele.
All the aspirants have till Friday, April 5 to submit their filled forms to the Directorate of Organisation.
The revalidation of the membership register is being conducted in the 18 local government areas of the state ahead of the local government congress.
