A frontline member of the Coalition of Civil Society Groups, Comrade Saheed Adegboyega, has described as a welcome idea, appointment of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Chairman, Ondo governorship election Campaign Committee by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a media chat, in Lagos, Adegboyega said that the confidence reposed in the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu a goal getter still remains intact and unshaken, enthusing that, “he would deliver Ondo state to the APC.”

According to him, Sanwo-Olu as APC Campaign Chairman is a strategic plan for victory assurance because of his pedigree as an achiever and performer, commending the party for its foresightedness in choosing somebody who has achievement to showcase as credential to convince Ondo people that Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredelolu would not disappoint them.
“What the APC has just done in Ondo State through Sanwo-Olu’s appointment to lead the campaign must have shocked the opposition to their marrow knowing full well that he is dogged goal getter, enthusing that, with this surprise and attack strategy, the war is half won even before going to the poll.
“And only a political novice and uninitiated in the art of politicking would ignore a campaign train driven by the like of a master tactician of Sanwo-Olu’s calibre, who has even convinced the opposition in Lagos that the people’s Messiah has arrived and vote for an up-starter,” the activist wondered!
While believing that, the enlightened people of Ondo State would not dare experiment with a Trial and Error formula, Adegboyega is of the strong conviction that, they would shun political sentiment by voting for continuity which Akeredolu represents, assuring that, “a vote for Akeredolu is a vote for the APC and a vote for continuity into a brighter future for Ondo State now and for generation yet unborn.”
He, therefore, urged the good people of the state not to hesitate to support the APC to win the coming governorship election in the state, stressing that, “Sanwo-Olu is not the kind of person that would deceive them into making a wrong choice of party and candidate.”
