Governor Abiodun said, “In everything that we do, including where we build our houses, schools and do our businesses, let’s obey safety rules. This disaster would have been averted if safety rules had been kept.”
He lauded his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his quick response to incident, and the humanitarian support immediately put in place.
The governor advised residents and emergency response/management personnel to be up and about in ensuring the rescue of victims that may still be trapped in the rubbles.
