Ogun announces first batch of non-statutory board appointments

 

The Ogun Government has released the list of members of non-statutory boards recently appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun to run the affairs of boards and agencies in the state.

 

Special Adviser, Media and Strategy to the governor, Mr Kayode Akinmade issued a statement in Abeokuta on Thursday that listed the names of the appointees.

 

According to Akinmade, the appointments were the first in the series as others would soon be announced by the state government.

 

The appointments cover the Ogun Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA), Plantgate Limited and the Ogun State Alternative Medicine Board (OGAMB).

 

“The membership of OGWAMA, which has Ajibola Kaka as chairman, includes Salako Olalekan, Iroko Ganiu, Adefisan Kazeem, Fagade Ajibola, Otemolu Olakunle, M.A.O. Akovoyon, Olubode Mankole, Olukoya Adelaja and Kadejo Akeem.

 

“Members of the new OSAMCA board include Sodeinde Kunle (Chairman), Olaonipekun Tajudeen, Akinoso Olayinka, Kuye Abiodun, Odeyemi Rafiu, Agoro Akinlagun, Adeogun Wasiu, Kazeem Adeyanju, Bello Iyabo, Risikat Sanusi, S.M.A. Akinyemi and Oyewole Akeem.

 

“For Plantgate Limited, the members are Mukaila Olugbuyi Bello (Chairman), Hon. Nuberu Adesanya Olufemi and Adeleye Jimoh Pelumi.

 

“For OGAMB, however, the members include Nurudeen Alawoerin (Chairman), Tuke Omotara, Agasagan Awusinu, Kokumo Edubona, Iyabo Sonubi, Aroyeun Ajisope, Cyril Omisande, Haruna Elegbede and Tunde Abioye.

 

“Members of these boards include the representatives of the Ministries of Culture and Tourism, Agriculture, Forestry, Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs and Ministry of Health,” it stated.

 

The statement enjoined the appointees to put in their best in the respective agencies, justify the confidence reposed in them by the government, and ensure a massive turnaround.
