Governor Obiano of Anambra State has challenged successful Anambra people to join the State Government in the development of the State.
The Governor spoke through his Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Mike Okonkwo during the commissioning of a High Court complex in Umuchukwu built by an American based Medical doctor, Godwin Maduka.
He said this would reduce unemployment among the youths, restiveness among young people and other social vices in the society.
He commended Dr. Maduka for his continuous support to the development of the State, urging him not to rest in his oars.
The Chief Judge of the State, Justice Ijem Onwuamegbu, who described the complex as magnificent edifice, said they were more than eager to take over the High Court for the use of the people to ensure quick dispensation of justice for the ordinary man in the State.

According to her “we immensely want to thank and appreciate the donor, Dr. Godwin Maduka, while I use this medium to call on other privileged sons and daughters of the state to emulate him in building such human oriented projects for the development of our dear state and Nigeria at large”.
Dr Maduka, while handing over the High court to Anambra state Judiciary said ” today will remain memorable in my life to see this dream come true”.
He stressed that it has been his desire to put in place in his community those things that made the white people look down on the Africans.
He said one of such things included justice to the common man even as he recalled how his people used to travel as far as Ekwulobia, Onitsha and even Awka in search of justice.

Most times, he said, when the poor and the down trodden calculated the cost implications of seeking for justice, they naturally leave their fate in the hands of God.
He recalled that sometimes in 2010, he also built and handed over a Magistrate court to the State
The US based medical doctor said the construction of the judiciary building in his community was to bring justice nearer to the people.
Also present at the occasion were the member representing Orumba South Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly and about 14 traditional rulers from both Orumba North and South Local Government Areas.
The Court described as one of the bests in Nigeria with judge’s residence are the first of its kind to be donated by an individual in Nigeria.
Maduka had equally in the past build Police Station and Civil Defence office in his community and other projects he has provided his people.
